Dr. Brandi Suva

Dr. Brandi Suva (nee Petrukovich) completed a Bachelor of Science with a major in Animal Science from the University of Saskatchewan in 2009. In 2013 graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. This was followed by completing a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic and Referral Centre (VEC) in Toronto, Ontario in 2014. She stayed at VEC for an additional year to complete a Small Animal Surgery Internship in 2015.

She then traveled to Washington State University to complete a Small Animal Surgery Internship at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in 2016.

Dr. Suva has additional certification in both AO Principles of Small Animal Fracture Management from Columbus, Ohio, as well as Applied Laparoscopic surgical training from Washington State University. She also has previous publications in the areas of neurology, surgery, and equine nutrition.

Dr. Suva enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, and 7-month old son Hudson on their family farm. They recently added a mix-breed puppy, named Maebee, to their family, which also includes cats Henry and Gracie. They are currently renovating a 100-year old farm house and are enjoying the design process.
