I graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Lakeland College in June 2020.
My passion for animals began at a very young age, growing up on a cutting horse training ranch located outside of Edmonton, AB, where handling a variety of animals from small to large ruminants (sheep, cattle & bison), cats and dogs were a part of my daily life. I also showed cutting horses competitively across Canada and the USA for about 5 years.
My passion for animals doesn’t stop there. As a former wildlife rehabilitator, I have cared for many sick, injured, orphaned and distressed wildlife from rodents, reptiles, and various birds and raptors.
In the office, you’ll find me loving your dog and cat, and occasionally working with large animals.
Outside the office, you will find me behind the lens of a camera, downhill mountain biking, or seeking my next adventure.

I graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Lakeland College in June of 2019. I then completed my practicum at West Wind Veterinary Hospital and was hired at Vermilion Veterinary Clinic shortly after.

I have always had a strong passion for animals and growing up around the animals on the family farm, I knew from a young age that I wanted to work in the veterinary industry. I am most passionate about working with dogs, cats and horses but I have been enjoying working with cattle and look forward to learning more as I grow in my career.

I currently have 2 fur babies one being my lovely horse Ginger and the other being my little dog TJ both of which I adore. I have already adopted a stray kitten from the clinic and with my plans to move out to a farm with my boyfriend Brayden, I’m sure there will be more to come!

I was born in southwestern Saskatchewan and lived there until I was nine, when my family moved to Youngstown, Alberta.

After high school I took a summer job with the Special Areas Parks Department, and then spent the next ten months as a stable hand at Coleman Farm near Sherwood Park. I attended New Brunswick Bible Institute for the 2018-19 school year, followed by another summer on the Parks Department.

I started as a general assistant at Vermilion Vet Clinic in October 2019. My favourite jobs are running the forklift, yard work and looking after the boarding cats.

I graduated from Lakeland College the spring of 2018. I did my practicum at Viking Veterinary Clinic and was hired at Vermilion Veterinary Clinic right after.

Growing up on the farm I had the opportunity to work with all species of animals. My favourite part of the job is working with cattle, from processing calves to C-sections.

My husband and I were married August 2019 and live on an acreage north of Wainwright. We have 2 cats, an Aussie named Luna and more outdoor animals o come.

I have been with Vermilion Vet Clinic since Nov, 2021. I really enjoy working the front end and meeting new people.

I was born and raised on a family farm, so it's only natural the love I have for cattle and horses. I am married to Chuckwagon driver Dallas Dyck and together we have 2 kids and live on a farm in the Dewberry area.
